چکیده
La cocoteraie mondiale couvre une superficie d’environ 11,5 millions d’hectares. Les petites plantations (< 3-4 ha) fournissent 96 % de la production mondiale de coprah. Sur ces petites exploitations, le cocotier est presque toujours associé à d’autres cultures. Les planteurs, soit en raison d’une vieille habitude culturale, soit sous l’effet d’une pression foncière grandissante, essaient de valoriser les surfaces cultivées par l’intensification des systèmes de production.
